I just read that the Getty Museum has agreed to return a fresco fragment to Italy. The museum is connected to the company Getty Images. Yes, the same Getty Images that sends out bills to people they accuse of infringing on their supposed copyrights.
I’m curious as to how the Getty Museum got the fresco fragment in the first place.
